Broken Screen issues have levels, if you can't see anything, your chances are very slim. If you are using a Flagship Android with USB-C V3.0 and above there may be hope for you via USB-C display port output

Thank you for making the video but sadly as of all the help videos on Google these solutions are all dependent on the broken phone already having certain apps and settings enabled so without having them already on it is useless as the screen does not work so the settings or apps cannot be added. Going round in circles because modern technology sucks. Bring back the Nokia 32/10 and snake I say.

If you get the adapter that works, esc button on the keyboard gives you the option to enter Lockscreen password, pin or pattern. It you used pattern then use a mouse 🖱 and drag along your pattern

@@SmartDepot ty man, the OTG adapter didnt work at all so i tried cleaning the usb charger port with toothbrush as i noticed some discoloration in there maybe dust or corrosion, and i have seen on occasion a charger port warning that its wet or damaged. then i plugged in my original usbc-usb adapter and i saw the mouse cursor for 1 second. then it disappeared before i could unlock the phone. so i think i have 2 issues the lcd touch not working but also an issue with the charger port so the mouse not working. i tried wiggle the adapter and i saw mouse again very briefly. so i will try clean this port better and hopefully can get the mouse to work so i can turn off the swipe lock and touchscreen sensitivity settings and permit windows apps like kies or switch to backup my phone as the lockscreen is blocking me from this atm :/

i got it working man! once i cleaned the charging port the mouse started working with OTG and normal usbc-usb adapters so i am able to control the phone again. i connected samsung flow smart view on pc so i can use the mouse on my computer to control it also. after i backup the phone i might try replace the touchscreen.

USB-C display port output function is not available for OG Pixel XL. You have to get a knockoff screen if all you want is the files inside the phone

You can connect external USB keyboard with OTG adapter, press the esc button and type in your password. But then if your default USB Configuration is set to file transfer you can connect it to computer to copy files. If not, you'll need to try another method

So my Samsung A3 16 is not touching at the bottom of the screen and I could not press the "ok" key after I put a password. I ended up erasing all data using ''find my device'' just to get rid of the passwords. Now trying to reset the phone as its now brand new, the "next/skip" key is sitting exactly where the 'ok' key was sitting. I really need this device to switch yoh, what can I do?

What do I do if I have level 3, it’s a nexus. When I press the on button or plug it to charge, it vibrates so the phone is working but no lights at all from the screen. When I connect it to my monitor the monitor goes from “no cable connected “ to just plain black after I connect it. What can I do?

Nexus will require a screen replacement. But the bigger problem will be finding a Nexus screen

hi my iphone 5s 2020 gen is broken, it is a level 1/2 and the screen is almost completely black and touch screen doesn’t work. i can’t connect it to a computer because i need to be able to unlock the iphone to use accessories. i don’t know what to do, i haven’t backed up anything to the cloud. i was thinking maybe i should try to repair the screen myself

I am not sure iPhone 5s has the lightening port display output option. Apple, to the best of my knowledge, started that feature from iPhone 6 series. But if you have any of the adapter in the video description, you can try if it works

I was given my dads broken iphone 13 pro max, and the screen is completely broken, but it's still on (I can hear it etc) - how would I be able to see that screen without getting it fixed? It's not on my wifi, would I need to go to their house for it to be on their wifi?

Apple had blocked access to 3rd party adapter access to keyboard by default from iOS 12 so, if your dad turn it on, which I highly don't think he would, you can use the adapter in the video description for iPhone to get access to see the screen and input the PIN. However, iPhone 13 is worth changing the screen and using. Still a great phone

Did you turn enable the option to always connect with this PC? That would make the device not to request for prompt each time it is connected to the system. If you did, get one of the adapters in the video description for Huawei device and you'll be good to go. Connect to any HDMI display and use the remaining USB A port to connect mouse 🖱 or keyboard or both with a splitter

The only thing that can save the situation is if you had turned on USB debugging before the screen died. A50 doesn't have Display port output function and you phone default USB Configuration is probably set to charge only. Could be very hard

Any App will require USB debugging to be set on laptop or PC with always allow this PC option turned on before hand. The best application for me is Scrcpy (Screen Copy) it's also open source

my issue is that my LG mobile screen is black. I'd like to bypass the mobile screen and use the PC screen, mouse and keyboard to access the phone remotely. I looked at things like airdroid but they say I need to also install airdroid on my phone, which is impossible because I've no way of knowing what I'm pressing on the screen if it's black. I need to access an app that is tied uniquely to this phone. If I could just view the phone on my pc, and type on it the way I'd normally type into my phone, then I could access the app. I need some kind of remote solution but any I've seen requires me to have the app installed on both the PC AND the mobile, but I can only install it on my PC. Any ideas ?

You are lucky to still have access to files. Unfortunately, there's no other option to turn on USB debugging for A12 as it doesn't support USB-C display port output

The big problem is that you probably won't see a replacement screen. There's no such option to access broken screen on blackberry. I think you can copy the files stored in it when connected to a computer

Use an OTG adapter to connect mouse 🖱 then Pair a Bluetooth keyboard to your phone. Now connect USB cable to PC, use the Bluetooth keyboard's arrow button to chose the right options and hit enter.

Hello @SmartDepot. I have an Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 4.5 inch screen smartphone running Android 4.4.2 with level 2 screen damage from water exposure. The charging port is USB-C. The screen is totally blank, but the charging indicator light comes on when I plug the charger into a power outlet, it makes a "turning on" noise when I turn it on, and the charge light flashes when it is on (indicates that there are unseen texts and/or phone calls). I don't know if the screen touch function is working. USB debugging isn't enabled. None of the data is stored in the cloud, by my phone network provider or on an SD card, and the phone isn't synched to any devices. All my data is stored directly in the phone and phone contact list on the sim card in the phone. Is there any way I can connect my phone to a Windows 10 laptop to view and transfer data, texts, phone call log and phone contact list? Thank you.

Yes! I have an extremely similar problem and need to know the answer as well! My difference is no water damage--screen is just completely black and inaccessible, and it is a Samsung S21. @SmartDepot I would really love if you answered this person's question please.

@SmartDepot made a mistake - the charging port is micro USB, not USB-C.
