Hello Myky: thanks for introducing us to Macdroid. I've tried it and it seems to be working with OnePlus 9 Pro. BUT: is there an option on Macdroid that SYMBOL view of the files on the android phone can be seen as thumbnails in the Mac Finder ?

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, MacDroid does not display thumbnails. We aim to minimize unnecessary background traffic with the device, as this can slow down file copying and directory access. In future MacDroid releases, we may consider a significant overhaul of how it interacts with Finder. This could potentially allow for the normal display of file thumbnails.

so after I transfer pictures should I turn off wireless debugging on my phone every time? or is it safe to just leave it on all the time

The connection is initiated from Android, meaning that even if wireless debugging is enabled, connecting to it from a Mac is either impossible or very problematic. Specifically, this refers to connecting without taking any action on the Android device itself. But if you often connect to unfamiliar Wi-Fi networks or untrusted computers, it is better to disable wireless debugging when you don't needed.

MacDroid is compatible with all Android and MTP devices. Unfortunately, it is not clear why the QR code is not shown on your side. We would be happy to investigate the issue but we require additional information. Please contact our Support Team at [e-mail] for further discussion.

The point that you missed is 1. "Both the devices must** be connected to the same wifi.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, you are right that both devices should be connected to the same network while using Wi-Fi connection. We will take this into account in our future videos.
