That’s what I was noticing, so I thought I’d do one since I had to transfer up Jirachi and Manaphy anyways.

Also if you’re missing the DS Pokémon games or a DS that has a GBA slot I used the GBxCart Pro to rip the save file of my emerald copy, then backed up my ultra moon save file on my *MODDED* 3ds, then opened both files in pkhex and then drag and drop the Pokémon you wanna transfer from the gen 3 save to the 3ds save and then save both files, go onto the modded 3ds, restore the backup, go into bank, take the Pokémon out, then transfer it to home

That is definitely one way to do that, but the idea is to do it without a PC. Using those devices, you may as well save yourself a bunch of time and steps and just generate them in PKhex since you’re going through PK anyways

Thanks for a great video! I have all 5 gen 3 games and have never progressed onto newer consoles/games… finally bought a DS lite so I can try the gen 4 games. Seems as though I’d have no problem transferring the Pokemon from gen 3 to gen 4 but do you think it would be possible for me to bring them up to the latest games?

Absolutely! You have to go Gen 3 to 4, Gen 4 to 5 Gen 5 to bank and bank to home, home to the latest game.

@@absdab5674 Not sure if there are ribbons on that or not. Never really cared. If it gets ribbons for transferring up through each generation then it has them but I didn’t go out of my way to accumulate any on it.

@@printzess you could with some extra steps for sure. You’d need a Benn Venn Joey Jr. ( bennvenn.myshopify.com/products/usb-gb-c-cart-dumper-the-joey-jr ) To extract the save file from your Gen 1 cartridge “assuming the save was still intact which if it is that new isn’t legit anyways unless you did some major pre-emptive/careful care” You could then inject that save into the vc version of red/blue/yellow and use the poke transporter/bank to get it to home.

​@@printzessBecause there's no legitimate way to catch Mew. The only way to catch Mew is by performing Fly/Teleport glitch or if you're a Japanese and attended the Mew distribution event in the past.
