Thanks for your reply. I simply want to go on vacation, and I am looking for another cheaper alternative to the ATM bank machine cards to withdraw money in a foreign country while on vacation. I never used the Wise money transfer services nor do I have a Wise card and I am leaving next week for Albania. Do I have a Wise money transfer and withdrawal alternative to the card that the same provide? Thank you again. P.S. I've heard also that Wise sends you a code via your home phone while you are already abroad which is impossible to get.

What I was disappointed with wise is its lack of customer support. Wise appears to only work if one is exchanging different currencies versus just internationally wiring. Tried to use their service in sending a wire from one country to another that uses the same currency and they didn't appear to be able to do that.

@@fernandomofreita79 you do not need their card you can use your ATM if it us good for the country and you can transfer with that also or use your bank routing numbers and account numbers but you need an account to transfer to where your going. I believe if you have their card you can transfer to money handlers beside banks here in PI or use it as ATM

It works both ways, do the first transfer with a small amount to make sure the the flow is working correct

Hi John, don’t think you can get two wise cards for the same account, but if someone is traveling with you , you can request one each. Or have other card as backup , for example a Revolut card (referral link) revolut.com/referral/antoni8di4!DEC1AR

Have had a few problems. First time my bank back home changed name and routing number actual account number never changed. I had to re-establish my account with wise resulting in a two week delay in getting my funds.

Hello Aman, depend on your personal situation and country, but I would say that works both ways, directly and if you prefer to move to wise and then exchange and transfer to someone. Hope that helps.

That would be easy to check, add your Cyprus account , and then add your us account, then try to move to your Cyprus account, not sure since is in the same currency, or check with the support team.

Hi Fernando, thank you for asking are well:) goods questions, but Albania currency is is not supported by Wise. But for example Poland, you could use the wise card. And using the card there are two ways. One you convert before and the card uses that or when you use it , it convert on the moment. All this for vacations, for longer or bigger amounts would be a different process with many variables, that I sure that when you arrived there you would discover the best way. Thanks for watching

Thank you for your feedback, the 3 banks that we are reading that are possible to open accounts remotely are Abanca, Bison and Atlântico, if you are able to travel to Portugal before the visa the number of options open up. millennium, CGD, CTT, ... For any of this you need to have a NIF before. It is on our content pipeline to do a video about the banks.

Hi Zara, wise is exactly for this type of cases. They get you money in pounds in UK, and deposit in euros in you German account same or next day.

Not happen the same day. They transfer into their account right away but may take 3 or 4 days to get to your receiver in other country. Philippine bank May take two days to actually get in your account
