great video. as the transfer does not fully dry on the fake skin, how do you work with that without smudging / smearing it?
@TheBeardedTattooer6 жыл бұрын
Honestly take a blow dryer to it for about 10 mins on hot then cool and then wait another hour to let it dry and the stencil will be visible if you accidentally smear it
@scottysutherland35683 жыл бұрын
I let it sit overnight and it won't smudge at all after doing that

What pen/pencil do you use for stencils?
@hannahturner2157 Жыл бұрын
Another video said to wait a week otherwise the stencil will just smear/smudge away, is this not the case because of the stencil stuff and type of skin you're using?

hey what kind of stencil solution are you using?

Hi! Is it alright if I use a normal Biro for example on the stencil and put that on the skin or do I need to use something else, because I’m also concerned about ink poisoning

hey man got a question: i know how to transfer the stencil ( tried it a couple of times) but my proble is that the stencil bleeds into the practice skin and I can't wipe it off no matter how hard i try. Other users here have the problem of the stencil not adhereing to the skin while I have the exact opposite. It's so frustrating, it's like it's tattoed into the skin. And also, on my end there's no need to let it dry over extended periods of time, after I remove the stencil paper it's already locked in. It's weird. Maybe it's the type of practice skin, maybe it's different in composition , hell I dunno.

I have the same problem. It’s especially frustrating if I drop a stencil for a portrait because I circle every single shade , even the lightest ones and it doesn’t go away no matter how hard I wipe so after I finish the tattoo on the fake skin it has blue circles all over it.

It's the type of skin the one in this video is made from silicone and they are better to practice with for feel and they shade better but the stencil rubs off easily and they are more expensive. The other type is rubber and the stencil sticks instantly and does not come off at all, they are not as good at getting the feel for depth etc but they still are good for learning to pull lines, hope that helps

@@samomico9536 @rhad333 I had the same problem in the beginning; with me, the problem went away by putting a different primer onto the practice skin before applying the stencil. Also, let the primer rest a second after applying, then wipe it open again before applying the stencil, so it's as thin and even as possible.

What if I don’t have any stencil solution? I was gifted a tattoo kit from Amazon and it didn’t come with a stencil solution to transfer over to my fake skin

hi adam.. that skin u also having trouble doing lines? does it shows clearly or fainted.. coz mine doesnt show clearly...
@TheBeardedTattooer6 жыл бұрын
cadworx it all depends on the machine youre using and the speed of it with the speed of your hand movement. You also have to push down harder on these; as oppose to on skim where u dont want to go deep. Try miving your hand slower and see if that helps

hi! 24 hours to dry?
@TheBeardedTattooer6 жыл бұрын
hey, no i was saying it wont dry even in 24 hours its not lie real skin in that way. Real skin you can wait for around 10 minutes for the stencil to dry. But on fake skin you can wait forever and it will still whip away easily. Thats what i was trying to get at by saying that.
@nick__logo6 жыл бұрын
i try to fake skin and,after 2 hours i ts still whip away easily!! you have some solution or suggestion abute that? thanks!!!!
@TheBeardedTattooer6 жыл бұрын
vault boy I wish I did but the fake skin don't hold the stencil. Basically what I do is just be extremely careful and instead of whiping sometimes I'll dab the inked area

can we reuse the fake skin for tattooing?

How do you mean reuse like tattoo the other side or?..
@sherylcooley17276 жыл бұрын
For some reason none of the stincles are sticking to my skin
@TheBeardedTattooer6 жыл бұрын
that could be one of three things 1. your stencil paper are poor quality 2. your fake skin is a bad quality or 3. your stencil solution or whatever you're using to transfer the stencil is bad. Most likely bad stencil paper
