What if you wanna go the other direction? I have a 400 gig build that I wanna put a stripped down version on a smaller sd card?

In that case, I’d backup your card. Start removing what you want and then copy that into an image… then once done put your original one back on

I'm just wondering when you write to the new card is everything deleted off the old card? You couldn't put the old card into another raspberry pi to work?

Nope, nothing is deleted off the original Card, you are just making a copy :)

Yeah when I upgraded from 32gig to 64gig there was no definitive video or instructions how to do it..... so I made my own lol Thanks buddy :)

Yeah, if you look at my videos how to access the retropie cards, you can just delete the Roms from the card and once you reboot your pi they will disappear :)

If you select one, hold shift and go to the end of where you want to delete it will highlight what you need, then press del

@@NoobGameReviews what i did was everytime i swapped the 8gb sd card to the 200 gb sd card, i ejected it to safely remove the card and i closed the application, what i did to fix the problem was i just removed the sd card without ejecting and i kept the application open as well and it worked, i did make sure to check if everything was fine and made sure nothing was corrupted
