Yes, there are multiple reasons: it's private, it's easy to use, you can use it as a temporarily playlist for your research and you can add another video with just 1 click :)

Yeap, it's there for a while, they change it a lot in the last period, but happy that it's still working and we could still add all videos at once!

yes, unfortunately if you haven't watch them you cannot remove them all at once! But if you watch them you can do this with two clicks from the Watch later menu, select the 3 dots and then Remove watched videos.

Watch later to playlist would make more sense :) "watch later" is basically a limited playlist.

It depends what you need. If you want to watch a training on a specific topic and you find a playlist, transferring it to watch later will let you exclude the videos that are not presenting interest, while in a playlist I believe you can’t do it.
