I think you need to be more clear on which kind of external drives to do this to cause I had an Xbox external drive and I followed your instructions and lost all my games cause I don't think licensed drives need to be formatted but oh well

Mine doesn't show the option to format, took it out and formatted with the pc, plugged back into to xbox and still no option to move or copy, it's got plenty of gigs

Wait. Do you have to move them to the internal drive of the series x or can you just plug the hard drive and play the games from there?

If you leave the drive connected you can use them from there, just don't format 5hw drive. Although you will have to designate it as the save drive

I would copy to make sure if any issue happens in the transfer you have a backup. Once done with the transfer and validation then I would delete the old data from the older system. Hope this makes sense

I've had a hard time getting my wwe 2k22 data to sync from my one S to my Series S. I cleared local saves from the series...and tried to reinstall plus redownload but it didnt work. I've now booted up the game on the old console...but my save data has gone from there too. Is there a way to specifically look through the cloud for saves from a day ago etc...and sync them

Or you could just use a gigabit ethernet cable between the two consoles and use the transfer tool in the settings / dashboard ...

I think if you add those accounts to the new xbox it should have all of your progress, you might want to do some research on that though

This will back up and transfer any saved data on the hard drive you have it does not back up the disc just the resource that it needs on the Xbox

yes your saved games need to be transferred over, and you can do it over wifi but it would longer
