I asked the "bank" if ilan nabiling shares ni mama, dalawa daw pong 200, par value of 10 peso. The bank asked if meron kaming stock certificate and sabi ko walang any documents iniwan si mama. So I asked yung "company" if naclaim na ni mama yung stock certificate, they said no. Do you think po malaki babayaran naming estate tax? I asked the bank if may tax wala daw kasi individual daw po? Tingin niyo po ano ang dapat naming gawin?

This is a great information. This is part of reality. I rather have my user name and password of my account to someone I trust, so they can sell what they could online and transfer funds online to our joint accounts and make withdrawals before the death certificate comes out. When it comes to real properties, there’s no escape in paying taxes. Just make sure you leave enough liquidity so the heirs can transfer the ownership.
