How to Transform a Desert Village In Minecraft 1.18

So Today I decided to transform a Minecraft village while still trying to keep the feeling of a normal vanilla village. Let me know what you think?

Hey thanks, I always thought it would be a good idea so people new what series a video was part of. Many times have I click a video thinking it was part of a series I watch to just be co fused for 5 minutes trying to work out if I missed something 🤣

I love to upgrade existing villages and its funny cause I do it almost exactly like you did. Most of the time I'm finished I leave the village and seek for new adventures but I always have the opportunity to come back to this safe place.

Thanks for the comment, I 100% agree with you on this, there was a time I was doing hardcore survival worlds and that was going to be the premise of the series. I think it's such a great idea to build up one village then only bring what you can in one inventory to the next and start again. 😃

I can't believe 1.18 was 2 years ago! Looking at now Minecraft surely has a lot going on, but dessert biome seems to be neglected the most by Mojang :'(

Would have to agree with you there. It was good they introduced mud blocks though as it does give a new layer of detail you can do with dessert biomes 😁

Hey, thanks for the comment. This video is the tutorial for the village. I have a new series at the moment where I'm going through in detail how I plan my villages/cities. Yes, it is made in a plains biome, but the tips I use to make this would apply to any biome 😁

Hey, sure. If I remember correctly, the blocks used were dirty and coarse dirt. I don't remember using any other block as I wanted to keep the designs simple. Hope this helps 👍

Sure, the seed is 343553717 . you will need to set the world type to large biomes and to get to the village you would need to travel a few thousand blocks
