It’s fucking bull shit they act like it’s so easy snd cheap to refresh your bathroom..and then the robbing thieving tradesmen adds his brat kids school fees and the cost for his over seas hoilday he will be taking that weekend.. it costs you a fortune and all because fucking Australia won’t regulate the industry.. hence the millennium apartment tower that’s falling apart..?.. sorry I’m in the middle of trying to help my 73 year old mum replace her shower because she is two frail to have a bath any more.. and the shower just isn’t save. And we are trying to do it two a budget.. all the tradesmen in my area are robbing me blind.. fir the most simplistic jobs. So I apologise for my language.. I’m just so drained and a angry by the whole experience.. tuned into sherries so called cheap bathroom Reno to get some hints tips and it’s just made me worse lol 😂

The tile paint is a short term solution and is certainly not durable especially in the shower area, it would have been much better to develop a design scheme that uses the existing tiles. A future buyer of the property would certainly factor the cost of bathroom renovation in their offer.

Except those tiles are horrendously ugly and tile paint costs $100. Even if you're fastidiously pedantic and feel the need to redo it every four years, that's $500 for 20 years of living without depressingly ugly tiles. Not everyone has a spare 20k or 30k to spend on a full bathroom renovation. Also, not everyone wants to stay in their house for 20 years. This channel is literally called 'Renovating for Profit'. It's not 'Renovating to a High Standard by Spending Money Unnecessarily'.

All very nice, but to be quite honest replacing the vanity with a big round mirror is totally impractical. you have nowhere to put allyou bathroom stuff out of sight. So you get a bathroom that nice to look at , but useless to use.

The carpentry cost for Tradis $150 is unrealistic usually because it isn’t a regulated industry depending on where you are and who you choose as your tradesmen, they can charge whatever they want $150 that is a pipe dream… most will rip you off between the tune of $ 500 to $900 for the most simplistic of jobs.. which really makes my blood boil.. I’m in the middle of trying to refreshing my bathroom on a budget.. and all the tradesmen iv called are trying to rob me blind..most will add on top there kids school fees and what ever living cost for simple time saving jobs it’s bull shit… so once you pay for your materials taps vanity’s and other money savings items.. the tradesman comes in and your being robbed buy the time you pay them your so called cheap $4000 money savings budget Sheree quoted for her tv Reno.. in reality wonce the thieving tradesmen adds what ever he feels will cost you between $12000 to $14000.. do you may as bloody well pay for a new fricking bathroom…wish Sheree would come do my bathroom for tv I would save a shit load.. ?
