This was veyr helpful! I have 3 peonies plants that were here when we bought the house and one is on a hill. As I get older it's hard to get to to put in supports or take cuttings so I've wanted to move it , but was afraid to. this September it's getting moved!

I've moved into a home and was surprised by the most amazing peonies! I don't ever remember seeing peonies before and so I have been trying to learn about them so I can have a great production in the spring. It is September now and I've heard some say to trim them to the ground and then move them but I don't really know which benefits the plants more? Thanks for your video!

Im in Georgia & want to transplant my peony into a large pot asap or soonest. Its in wrong location; not enough sun & has never bloomed. Can I do now while dormant or wait till its leaves emerge in warmer spring ? Thank you

Thanks for the simple but good video on transplanting peonies :) how deep should the holes be for herbaceous & Itohs? I see sometimes people say 12"/18" or 20". What if the soil has a lot of clay in it ?!! thanks.

My mom recently passed away and she has a beautiful peonie bush in her yard. I dug up a small part of the root ball, but I'm not sure if it is going to make it. Can I send you a picture of it and get your opinion? Thank you!

I live in North Carolina. I tranplanted a peony plant that needed more sun. I was able to split the root ball but have 2-3 pieces that I haven't decided where to plant. One of them I can see pink crowns and the other 2, I see white crowns. Can I store the 2-3 pieces somewhere until Feb-March? Thanks for any feedback

Can you cut them back at the same time you transplant?

I just moved 2 today , first part of March 2021 Do you think they will bloom this year ?? They had little shoots or growth on the roots . They have been in a area for years , they bloomed but I do not think it was to its full potential of the flowers . Maybe in the wrong place 🤷♀️ Love your attitude on just digging it up and transplanting it! lol 💕 I’m glad I found your channel!

I live in Georgia, it is still hot in September. I am doing some yard work now in December, our days are in the upper 50s, could I still transplant them now?
