I really look forward to your videos. I'm down here in Georgia with temps in mid sixties and when we get a frost I really think it's cold. But watching you with the howling wind, snow and ice I can get a sense of what real cold is like.

George Zustak That wind is not to bad this time off year but when it gets down to 30 or 40 below that kind of wind can become real dangerous.

Nice looking set..what do you do when there is no definet run?Very steep banks and very deep and narrow ditch I am trapping if you don't mind?

Efish3 If I can't find a good run and you don't want to use a bait set then i have built a fence of poles and left just one opening for your trap. Or put snares in the opening. That is alot of work so when there is not a good entrance to set I generally use baited sets. On bank dens if you take a hokey stick and point the blade toward the entrance you can sometimes find the den entrance a lot better.

Thanks for the help!..Having some problems with the deep water and thin ice,and very large bank den openings at least five feet wide and ten feet deep,I'll give it a shot.Take care and thank again!

Efish3 The thin ice is always a problem. When it thickens up I would hammer them with snares bait sets. If there is alot of current the snares may be affected though.
