How to Travel Between Paris & ORLY Airport Using Metro & Tram

In late April 2023, we flew to Paris from our home in Portugal for a 5-day visit to the “City of Lights”. The weather was not very cooperative since it rained or drizzled throughout our entire stay with temperatures in 5C / 12C range and windy conditions.
Nevertheless, we managed to see lots of the city and made it into a good time event. We went on a boat tour and we also booked a 2 hour “main attractions tour” of Paris in a classic old Citroen 2CV. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride. But as it turns out, many more pedestrians were shooting pictures of our car than we were able to take of the city in the rain. C'est la vie!
Prior to our arrival, we searched online for the best ways to travel between ORLY airport and downtown Paris Centro. We wanted something quick, simple and economical. We found many options with varying costs (Bus, Metro Subway, Train, Taxi, Trams, Private transfers). We chose 2-step process which used only the Paris Metro 7 and the public Tram T7.
To our surprise, we could find no videos or guides showing exact details on how to travel between ORLY airport and Paris. That’s why we published this.
Exclusive focus in our video is using Metro Line 7 and Tram T7 to travel between Paris & ORLY airport.
Initial portions of our presentation provide explicit, step-by-step details of traveling between the two points using the Metro 7 and Tram T7 facilities. We provide some information on connections to gain access to Metro 7 from others public transport facilities in Paris. We also provide insights as to costs and travel times.

Is tram 7 easily accessible from Orly airport?

We found it easily accessible outside the Orly 4 terminal building. Look for T7 sign in a corner of the terminal and take stairway to ground level. Ticket machines and Tram platform are about 30 meters away. Have a good visit!
