We are going to visit Crete in May for a week and we are working on our itinerary. We are going to rent a car for one or two days but were thinking about using buses to travel the other days. Do you have any tips for that? All the bus sites are a bit outdated and hard to really plan after since all the destinations aren't showing or no available times.. thanks!

me and my gf are going to at the end of may, for 3 weeks and we will rent a car for the whole trip. If by any chance we land in the same location at the same day, we can give u a ride, or some beer company :P

Ktora plaza podobala sie Wam najbardziej? elafonisi, balos czy preveli? my chyba pominiemy elafonisi, duzo ludzi mowilo, ze jest rozczarowujaca.
@SebastianDylag2 жыл бұрын
Z tych trzech wybralibyśmy Preveli i Balos zdecydowanie, Elafonissi.... No jest troszkę rozczarowujące. Myślę że są jeszcze inne ładne plaże ale z tych które my widzieliśmy i możemy polecić to akurat Preveli i Balos jak najbardziej ładne/ ciekawe 😄

Great video, but I wish you had given an idea of driving times to each of the destinations.

was it hard to drive in crete?
@SebastianDylag5 ай бұрын
Wouldn't say hard, but there is a specific "culture" in terms of driving. They drive quickly and could be overwhelming for new drivers 😄

Hi we are going to Greece end of April. Thank you for your video. Do we need an international license to rent a car in Greece? Thank you again!
@SebastianDylag8 ай бұрын
If Your from EU than You can drive with Your countries license, if from USA ... I'm not sure to be honest, but I would say that yes You would need the international license (I'm not sure as I just used my European license)

Hey , very nice presentation, do want to ask , is public transportation good?
@Crete_Locals Жыл бұрын
Hi, the public transportation is good enough, you can easily get from one city to another as well as some of the must-see places like Samaria gorge, Balos beach (first to Kissamos port, then take a boat to Balos), Knossos palace and others, but if you are able to rent a car that will be great at least for a few days to have flexibility of movement. But if that is not an option for you then the combination of public transport and organized tours will be enough for you to see the most of Crete. Hope this helps.😉
