I also had a bad experience w Billion Stars last wk. They refused to drive us to our destination stated on our tics n left us stranded at KL Sentral. Yes, Horrendous indeed.

Don't use this bus. These bus company are not practicing good condusive attitude for passengers. Avoid this transport company.

The are many reasons why billion stars express is the worst bus managing company. 1. Giving the buses which billion stars does not own. Billion stars express has been a scam for many as they do not have enough buses in their fleet. 2.Not getting the seat you booked. Billion stars express has the VIP seating which are only available on their own buses and the company only has a few. Only you can get those seats by luck. 3.if billion stars express are using all theirs buses, there is a 100% chance that they will charter bus from different company which cannot accommodate all passengers. If there are not enough seats for the rest they will ask them to go out of the bus without giving a refund. 4.Regular delays. Billion stars express has delays almost every day you travel with them.

The journey betw KLSG by bus is fine except that you must choose the right company. There are many operators, most are passable ...means bearable if you can put up with bs. The company you took is one of them. If you want to take one that leaves on time, stops at rest stops and generally no bull shit like dropping at woodland/tuas so another bus will take you onwards, there is only grassland express, sri maju, plus and a few others. Generally, good ones you hv to pre book ahead of time as they hv limited seats. If you are the last minute type, then you are consigned to take those off brand types that does no even hv a name

I am a 65yo retiree enjoying my retirement life, instead of driving now take night coaches. For SG - Genting, night coaches - I confirm will use RideWell (SG, Tampines - Compass Point - Eunos - Yishun - Jurong East > Genting), so far after COVID, I have only met with Malay or Chinese drivers. They are considerate, sharp and service oriented. For SG - KL, night coaches - Sri Maju sounds like the only go-for choice (Grantral Mall - Jurong East > KL > Genting) For luxurious brands - if you are rich or affordable, go for Transtar or Premium if you so wished. My past experiences with other brands: Bullion - Majority Malay drivers, smoked while driving but they are considerate and service oriented. Many of their seats are physically and electrically worn out, so don't expect to get what you saw on the displays. Grassland SuperNice - Majority Indian drivers, smoked and drive on handphone while driving most of the time. Many of them are in their own mind, including opening of the luggage compartment, they have to be reminded and they give you their stare...... WTS - Doesn't allow seats' selection, even if booked online early ahead and being a driver I disliked as sitting at the rear will cause me to turn Merlion. StarMart bought over many coaches from Konsortium (folded many years ago), was not in good light too. Cityline ??? LOL,,,,,,, Have you been following news for the past 6 months? news of their coaches flamed out in total lost or traffic accident ...... on the highway; consider if you are travelling night and deep sleep !!!!!!! Can you react? The driver watching videos might actually be safer, provided he does not focus too much on it. When you spend hours looking at the lane markings go by, it is very hypnotic, so if he did not have something else to distract him, it won't be too surprising if he even fell asleep. So counter-intuitively, him watching videos might make your journey a lot safer! It's the more modern version of turning on the car radio.

@@leechafertravels I think the better analogy would be those long haul truckers in the US. Those guys and these drivers drive very long distances and their conditions are not the same as us, it gets really weird when it comes to long haul driving.
