Last vacation I was in Ulan-Bathor and some other places in Mongolia (mostly steppes) and I can only say one thing. I LOVE Mongolia. For me it's my beautifull litlle solitude where I can by my self and ride horse with bow an arrow on miles and miles of mostly empty Steppe :) I can't wait for next vacations in Mongolia (all thoe it will not be soon due to fact it was realy expensive last time). God bless you Mongolia

Really? I'm an American and when I went to Copenhagan a few years ago, I saw the little mermaid and there was no one else there. You know why? IT WAS 3 IN THE MORNING! I was too broke for a hotel and no time to go to a hostel so I slept outside like a bum. Surprised I didn't get arrested..........or murdered.

Paul you should do some Eastern European country hopping around the former USSR including western Russia of course. Most of the countries are in the EU or visa free for US citizens excluding Russia (visas are easy to get and last 3 years). It's a hidden gem over here. It's cheap and not so touristy here. The nightlife and people here in Russia are awesome. I actually prefer Russia to Spain. (I've live in both countries fro extended periods of time).

+Justin Davis I absolutely agree with you exept on the Russian visa thing.. its actually quite easy, even easier then to apply for this "visa free" travel paper to the USA (still annoying as German citizen who normally doesn't need a visa to most places^^) but they last 30 days for tourists or maximum 90 days as private visas and its definetly not easy to get a longer visa except if you are ready to pay way too much money for it of cause :D

I dont know how the prices were 10 years ago but as I found out in the Russian embassy in Germany the normal visa costs 35€ and an express visa (I think its the thing you speak about) costs 70€... sadly the whole ex USSR is very corrupt but I was told that it got at least better then some years ago and all in all visa fees itself are cancer... thats the reason I wont visit for example Belarus until they either make it visa free or at least cooperate with Russia to make an single visa for the "eurasian union"... :/

My dam tiny seaside village in the outskirts of Dublin used to be so quiet and peaceful, do some fishing on the pier or go sailing at the beaches or horse ride on the beaches, now every sunny day (not a lot in Ireland) is full on Asian Invasion literally the second sunny day of 2017 (Feb 4th) i must have passed 100-200 tourists (Asians) on some hikers trail at the cliffs and then in the Town they were in their masses with tour guides and everything. each sunny day the pop at least grows by 5 times the normal amount of people that live there and the surrounding area. The Town is called Howth if any of you wanna see what all the fuss is about

Barby, I say you try Romania! Romanians are all over the place so it's unlikely you don't know someone who's from there! Secondly, Transilvanya has some of the most beautiful landscapes, and as long as you're not visiting for Halloween, there aren't many turists! You can hike some mountains, take a 5 hour train to Constanta and you're at the sea side! Not sure if you need a visa (you might or might not, depending where you're from!), but if you do, they're quite easy to get! And lastly, THE FOOD!!!

Barby, please come to Malaysia again. Not Kuala Lumpur, I mean Miri (2hr flight from KL for $50 on Malaysia Airlines). You want border proximity? I'll drive you to Brunei and explore the entire country in around 12 hours. Yes, it is possible and yes, you're welcome. Miri for me is still not Asian Invaded and largely unknown despite the oil industry and very few tours are present here. Backpackers and tourists are usually visiting Miri just as a transit to the rural caves (while Bruneians come to Miri to shop as Miri is daaaaaamn cheap for them). 😉

You really should come visit Kenya. There's something for everyone here! You like affordable, there's affordable here; you like expensive, there's expensive here; you like cheap deals, you'll find cheap deals here. For safari lovers, we have the big 5, the annual wildebeest migration and plenty of other wildlife. We have museums and game parks and reserves (no zoos, animals remain in their natural habitats except those in protection services). N.B. Kenya is the only country in the world with a game park/reserve in the city i.e. Nairobi National Park. There's also many different cultures in Kenya, each with their own distinct way of life so expect many different types of cuisines and people dressed in traditional garments in the villages. It will be interesting to see how Kenyans marry their traditional and modern lives to move forward with the world all the while holding on to their cultural identities. Many different languages are spoken here: English is the official language while Kiswahili is the national language. Most people speak English, Kiswahili and a local language that's usually their mothertongue. You'll also get to experience life in different terrains eg lakeside life in Kisumu, Naivasha, and other lakeside towns/cities; coastal life in Mombasa, Diani, Kilifi and other coastal towns/cities; desert life in Turkana, Marsabit, Garissa, Moyale and other desert towns and highland life in Thika, Nyandarua, Kisii and other highland towns. There's a whole lot to see and experience here and the locals are very welcoming. It's the whole package.

These are good tips! The only one I don't like so much is the border proximity one. I mean, sure, you are technically visiting several countries, but just being in a country doesn't automatically mean you get to really know the country. I understand why you do it, but I personally like to visit countries and kind of really see what is worth seeing, not just what is nearby.

1:49 Countries within the Schengen agreement, not the EU. These are not exactly the same thing. There are EU countries that do check passports (UK, Romania, Bulgaria), and non-EU countries that don't (Switzerland, Norway). Also, whether we're talking ground, sea or air transport is entirely irrelevant. You won't get a passport control between Italy / Spain in an airport either.

@Geography Now: in your intro there's the castle of Neuschwanstein. It's a nice place to learn japanese ;) But close to us, there are so many other beautiful places. Our king Ludwig II. was even more often in Linderhof. If you want, you can stay one year in Bavaria and always you'll see new beautiful places :)

Once I went to a very remote, not so well known museum in The Netherlands with my school and I saw more Chinese people than Dutchies.. I find that pretty fascinating.

Choli Zaragoza Spain was still great though XD When we visited in May, we didn't stumble upon many tourists in Madrid :) But that might be because we had relatives who live locally. One of the best bargins we made was accidentally going into a restaurant that you can actually see the Bernabeau football stadium through it! There weren't a lot of people and we just had to pay for delicious food (But we spent €200 on food for 5 people XD) But oh well, when visiting a country, eating their food is on the top of my list :D

Kuya Leinad You did well calling your relatives to hang out through Madrid. Spain is great but you always have to be careful with tourist traps which are incredibly common in Madrid and Barcelona. I reccomend u to explore non-famous places as Segovia and Avila near Madrid, Ronda near Seville or visiting the "forgotten" north as Galicia, Asturias, Vasque Country and Aragon.

I'm surprised you went to New Zealand then, being a kiwi, I know first hand that some of our "beautiful wilderness" locations are *PACKED* Especially over our summertime when people from all over try to escape their northern winters...

I had the pleasure of traveling to the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar in January 2017, I have footage of my stay on my channel :) Although it is located at the southern end of the Iberian peninsula, the people who live there will challenge views that they should integrate with Spain. Quick thing, Gibraltar is (contrary to perseptions) not an integral part of the UK either and never has been. Considering the territory is only about 3 square miles there are plenty of things to see and do there. I'd recommend going there at some point :)

Loved the video Skipping immunization is NOT a good idea at all. And I do not really care about your decision, but it can be extremely bad for your "friends". (today in Brazil we are really scared of Yellow fever, which someone not immunized has brought back)
