Wow! It seems we lived parallel lives this year, stopping in Iceland in June on our way home from the West Highland Way. But you look like you had some sunny weather, unlike us. The Sky Lagoon was our treat on our last night, after a Golden Circle tour the day before. And yes, downtown Reykjavik is so unique and very fascinating.

We think renting a car was a great idea so we could travel on our time and not rely on public transportation. But that is usually our preference anywhere we go. Hope this helps!

Great video. I like seeing actual costs of food and lodging to guide me about future trips. I loved your bathing suit and color. Do you remember brand or where you purchased? The material did not look like nylon but rather retro old fashioned.

Yes it is from Youswim. I love this suit too! What I like about the brand is that it’s all one size and the sizing fits EVERYBODY. So you can lose/gain weight and still have a suit that fits! They have lots of realistic body sizes on their website so you can see how one might fit on you. One of my fav travel pieces actually 😊

So happy for you! The restaurant wasn’t entirely vegan but lots of options from what I saw. Tomato soup was definitely vegan and there were vegetable skewers too but I’m not sure what else…but definitely get reservations! They book out pretty far in advance. This was a highlight for us as well as Hvammsvik hot springs. The soup there was AMAZING too. Very fresh and healthy. I would definitely say not to skip those 2 places. The tour guide said those were a highlight for people he takes on tours. But reservations for both for sure! I hope you have ALL the fun 🙂😀

Oh and the hot springs soup was vegan too! I didn’t ask about the bread at either place because I don’t eat it though. So I’d ask.
