Great reflection of your journey! Looking at your dates, I think I was on the Camino at the same time as you: 13th May 2022 - 16th June 2022. I walked the first 400km & rode the last 400km on a mountain bike (because my legs were so sore). I can't let it go that I rode those last 400kms & didn't walk the whole 800. So I'm heading back for unfinished business in five weeks time. This time I'm determined to walk the whole 800! 🤞

I was possessed here not the best vacation of my life

I live in North Florida and go to St. Augustine and the beaches often. I was born in Kentucky, grew up in Indiana and have lived in Virginia, California, South Carolina, Los Vegas, Chicago and Oklahoma. I stopped traveling around when I settled in North Florida 30 years ago. There is nothing outside of Florida I really care for anymore, but I would like to visit Arizona and Nevada again someday.

This seems like an ‘OUTLANDER’ tour. And I am loving it.

Are boots really needed on the Camino? I've had the impression that for the most part the surfaces are not sufficiently uneven to merit them - that sturdy walking or running shoes are more appropriate. What am I misunderstanding?
