In this video, we'll show you how to use a Meglio resistance band to help strengthen your ankle following an eversion ankle sprain. Using the Meglio resistance band, secure it around your foot so the band is wrapped around itself (wrap it at least once over). Take the loose end of the band and pull it out and away from your body. Squeeze your foot in whilst keeping resistance in the band. It’s really important to control both the inward and outward phase of this exercise to aid recovery (really focus on keeping your ankle stable). Keep your leg still and focus on isolating the movement to the ankle joint itself. You should aim to complete 10-12 smooth and controlled repetitions whilst doing this exercise.
