Djinn_29 BROOO I HAD NO IDEA PEPPER SPRAY HURT SO MUCH- I got a package from wish ages ago and it was this little pepper spray bottle, but the contents had spilt all over the bag and had sort of dried up. I, of course, didn't know that. I took the pepper spray can out of the bag and went to rub my eyes- big mistake- it burNed and aHh i cant imagine how it must feel to get that sprayed directly into your eyes-

I'd be careful with this remedy. A lot of antacids like this are actually suspensions of solid particles. As someone else commented, magnesium hydroxide does release heat when it reacts. The particles and the heat could make things worse.

Yeah this video is giving bad advice. If you get pepper sprayed in your eyes, use water or saline to flush it out. Baking soda/antacid/milk should only be used on skin, and tbh I don't think baking soda or antacid would be more effective than water because pepper spray is not acidic. Even if baking soda/antacid were effective, you don't want a chemical reaction happening in your eyes.

I was pepper sprayed last night due to videoing a fight, they came at me grab my phone with credit cards and took it from me. Saying i video them and wasn't going to give back my phone. I pursued him/them begging to return my phone please. The guy turned and pepper sprayed me in the face several times. what a surprise, then another guy came at me and hit me in the face knocking me down. They all run into their car and left. I flashed my face with cold water, its a heating sensation. I still get burning/heating effect when I risen by face and eyes. Going to treat as you shared here, thank you for sharing this.

I got pepper sprayed at the club last night. The only thing that helped was time. Long story short don’t touch anything. Definitely not your eyes, and definitely not your crouch area. I went to pee and the burning transferred there. Shower as soon as u can and wash everything you had on. If you wear contacts you might have to wait a day or two before putting them back in. Be very Leary of the friend that no one is talking to. Lol

I also had this experience. Baking soda (though not mixed properly) didn’t work. Half and half didn’t work. Shitty body wash didn’t work. They almost all made it worse. Especially taking a shower. Got moisture in air and the chemicals seemed to become airborne even more making me cough, and spreading them more into my eyes from skin. Definitely take off clothes and air out at least 48 hours before washing. Just try to not touch many things. If you can, sleep with the affected area uncovered and facing up off the floor/mattress or any blanket.

Tilt your head to the left or to the right. Not back. And place what you are using to pour on the bridge of the nose and pour down the leaning side. All of it should poor right on to the floor. Do not just pour water on there eyes with it running towards the other eye or rest of body

Just from some of the comments I’m guessing this works, but it’s slightly confusing. She says not to use anything with alcohol in it but all liquid antacid products are going to have some alcohol. Even the one she’s using, although it is an inactive ingredient. It’s like 0.2% or something so maybe that won’t matter. IDK.
