I have one of this to play silent with mesh head and on live situation i use it on acoustic skin as an enhancer of my own drum sound and also as a synth loop playback unit for my backing tracks it's really usefull to have a silent click in the headphone that you are the only one to listen.

Great video! So you run a line to your monitor but do you run a line to FOH sound for kick from the module or from your monitor? I'm confused 😂

Are the stereo or mono leads from trigger to module?

Awesome vid and demo. I’m about to buy this module and I was hoping you could help me out, my drum skills are good, my tech/computer skills are abysmal…I’m converting my acoustic kit into hybrid. I’m getting mesh heads and triggering all drums. I want to record and do covers. I know the tm6 is also an interface, so it will run straight to my computer and recording software. But I’m confused about mics, since I will need an overhead mic for the cymbals, does that mic plug into the tm6 and then run into the computer with all of the trigger sounds? Is there a mic input in the tm6? Thanks in advanced and happy new year.

Thank you for watching. From my recordings I run my Mike's separate into a mixer and the team 6 pro mono out into a mixer as a separate line and all those tracks going to my computer. My team sex pro does not run into my computer I didn't even know I could use it as an interface haha. I use the zoom l12 mixer which is also an interface into my computer it has eight inputs. I hope this answers your question.

Do you have your kick trigger velocity sensitive? Or does it stay at one dynamic?
@moondrums2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yes, it is dynamic. If I really lay my foot into the drum on the foot pedal I get a nice hard crunch from the trigger.

Hi there. I have an issue. My drummer uses side stick and rim shot. He never uses centre for snare. The problem is that when he hits rim shot all I get is side stick. How can I resolve this problem. Otherwise it means that I can’t use the snare trigger. Thanks for your help.
@moondrums2 жыл бұрын
If I understand you correctly it sounds like you're drummer needs to use a dual snare trigger not a single shot trigger that way the rim shots or side stick will pick up all the time with this double trigger
@calvingudu92372 жыл бұрын
@@moondrums Thank you for your reply. What he does is, he uses the rim shot and side stick interchangeably. So he needs to access both at different parts of a single song.

I really wish I had bought TM-6 Pro instead of my TD-17 module. Only having L/R audio out, and only 2 channel audio over usb is my biggest complaint. Roland TD-27 has 28 channels of audio over USB, 50X has 32 channel. Roland is releasing td-17 V2 update firmware, I’m hoping they include 8/10 channel audio out over usb like original TD-50 has w/o the X firmware update. I really like the 3 dial system to quickly edit parameters on the fly.

Thanks for commenting. I really enjoyed having those outputs available on top of the left and right mains. Also the sounds are fantastic with the TM 6!!!

@@moondrums I just subscribed to your channel. Really enjoy your content. TM-6 pro has great sounds!!!! 500 brand new one shots recorded just for that module. I’m torn between buying a TM-6 pro or upgrading to new spd-sx pro. I currently have an alesis strike multipad, however Alesis really shot itself in the foot when they stopped supporting product and stopped at firmware V1.3. It has major and minor issues that badly needed fixing and Alesis made decision to not support it hardware and fix it. I love using multipads, they make great mini portable drum kits and have tons of great features in one piece of gear.
