Watching your videos always lowers my blood pressure because of the way you talk and explain your procedures. Well done sir and good on ya. Wish you all the best from Canada.

Great job! I have a suggestion based on my experience. When heating that PVC piece, the thicker wood template stays too cool and doesn't allow the heat to stay in the PVC long enough to retain the radius. I find that if you use a much thinner template ( 1/2" or 3/4" ) and lay the template on a flat surface then bend and attach only the edge of your workpiece to the template, you will have access to heat almost the entire width of the workpiece on both sides faster and it will retain the heat enough to maintain the desired shape or bend. Then it only needs to cool for a few minutes because it is exposed to cool air on both sides as well. Using this method, I get almost no "spring back" in PVC boards, brick mold or trim. Thanks for your videos! And again, Great work!

Watching you nail that arch in place reminded me of the scene in the movie zootopia where they are watching Flash punch their parking ticket LOL... good stuff though thanks for sharing. Helped get me out of a bind

Impressive. I am new trim carpentry but you make it look extremely easy. I've been doing rough framing for a while but I think I'm ready to make a transition thank you very much

Thanks for watching and for the kind comments! I think you will be fine. You have been in the trades and have probably picked up a lot there. I believe this will come second nature to you. Good luck!

It would have also been interesting to watch you fit this custom full window jamb in place. However, I am more interested in how you finished the window with casing. Specifically, what material did you use for the eyebrow? Flexible moulding is expensive and I presume frugality motivated you to find a custom solution for this material as well?

Hey Blazing when cutting an obtuse angle ( more than 90 degrees ) take your 118 ... i believe you said and divide it by 2 .. you get 59 degrees .. now take 90 and minus 59 and thats your cut .... 31 whatever your obtuse angle is ... divide it by 2 and then minus it from 90 and you have your cut

YOW! Yeah you got that, id rather paint in the sun. Last time I was swarmed was at 15 me & my buddy thought it would be pretty cool to toss a cherry bomb in a bees hive in this old dead oak tree. Goodthing I ran cross country back then. What did you set your chair rail at? I figured since the majority of the room has 8' walls I'd set'em 32" The wife wants em at 34" which might make sense since the banister is at 34" one thing is for sure, my life would be a whole lot peaceful if I set'em at 34

Just trying to help, Brad. I was in the business for twenty years - high, high end all the way. All you need are a height and width. Did so on 15-18 m homes.

I think it's a great tip. I appreciate you sharing it. I was quoting a line from the movie Pulp Fiction. It was kind of funny in that context.

Sorry, had no idea. I rented the movie and shut it off after the 105th murder.
