I did 🙂. I've been pestering blizzard for years on forums to add a pull your teammates mechanic, like a friendly hog hook. Guess they finally added it. I did it under the guise of saying this would be a useful ability for saving overextending dps. But the truth is I just wanted this added so I could troll the fuck out of my teammates.

There’s one voice where he says ทานโทษ (pronounced Tahn-Tohd, basically a short, informal version of “ขอประทานโทษ”, which means ‘pardon me’ or ‘forgive me’ in Thai). As a Thai, the tone when he says that basically screams “oops” because he sounds more amused than remorseful 😂. I’m not sure if he’ll say that if he makes mistakes or if it’s one of the kill quotes of the enemy Lifeweaver if he eliminates someone or blocks someone’s ult.

Mei has less potential in terms of trolling teammate and everyone kinda knows her well enough that you usually can figure out whether she's trolling or not.

It'd be so easy to fix this its insane how it hasn't been thought of. - With the Lifegrip ability, make it so players can only be dragged over walkable surfaces, if there's a walkable surface beneath you, you'll continue to be dragged, if there's a non-walkable surface like a slope or death zone, you won't be dragged and stay stationary at the edge. If that can't be done. - Show in the killfeed that Lifeweaver killed a teammate and grant the teammate a reduced respawn or even instant for that dumbass play.

the removal of cooldown could be abused by pulling a tank who is about to die just for it to be ready faster to come back than if it was going to get killed

instant respawn still means they gotta walk all the way back from spawn, just make it a cast with like a 10 second timer to accept whenever as long as there is a sightline and appropriate distance, you can just hit interact to instantly beam yourself back to him within those 10 seconds or just let it run out, helps unorganized teams and prevents trolling in one go

Im less scared about people trolling and more about disrupting my plays or accidently throwing by pulling me in the wrong moment. I could be going for a risky play as a tank but the lifeweaver would judge it as too risky and pull me back just like that. No hero should be able to control what I do with my own character.

I mean it's kinda like Symetra's TP, which was at first her ult and could be place from anywhere on the map. Many people used it to TP their team off the map and i think it may have been one of the reasons for the ability getting a rework. This guy will probably be a similar case

I feel like a way they could balance this out is perhaps make it to where when you try and grab someone, they get a notification that they can either accept or deny to be pulled. Similar (but not equal) to how with Ana there’s a setting where when you want to Nano someone you press the ultimate before activating immediately you can either confirm or cancel the action on that specific hero if it’s not who you want to nano.

I only see advantages here, yesterday when I was playing, there was a guy in QP that was always bullying and being rude to me and to the other support in the chat, for no reason.
