This might sound crazy but check your wire outside your house that your cable or wireless service may have been chewed by squirrels I bought a brand new router and a modem I unplugged a thousand times I did everything replace all the cable boxes went into my phones and you know still could not get a full Wi-Fi signal and I'm right above the router in a bedroom and I was not getting full Wi-Fi a cable guy from Xfinity said my wires were chewed he showed me the wire from the telephone I live in the middle of nowhere but squirrels like something in coaxial cable this happens alot just not in the country side of intercourse PA but even in big cities squirrels chew your wires if all else falls check your telephone pole cause it happens

As was my case, if you didn't know what color it was because of dust, unplug it to clean it if the video doesn't help. Also make sure the vents are clear and that it's not overheating. I stole these ideas from Techquickie's video though, so like theirs if this works. Just wanted to help the channel that helped me and maybe someone else

If what she suggested does not work, try pushing in the "restore" button in the rear of your router. I spent hours troubleshooting and when I did that simple thing, my broadband connection returned. 😉

Okay my devices say I’m connected to my wireless router the router it’s self says there’s internet and it’s connected the modem is connected and receiving data cause the lights are flashing but I have no dam internet nothing loads up it’s annoying. I unplug and reset everything and still same thing everything says it’s connected but still no internet. I give up some nights and sometimes it just fixes itself I can’t explain it

We have installed a switch relay at an extension cord so I don’t have to remove the wire like you did always. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening? We just upgraded our WiFi router to a newer one and I’m about to change the cable modem to a newer one as well. Will that make a difference? Could it be that the cable modem overheated from multiple sources of HD streams? Wondering maybe due to people working at home in neighborhood could be an issue? I hate having to reset my WiFi router over and over. Any help?

This is useless and telling us half info only! 1: check connection. Make sure the antennas upright 2: plug out, wait plug back in wait, reconnect device 3; clear chache on device, free up space 4: hard reset. Press the reset button (hidden usually on the routers and need a pin or a pan to push) 5: go to different channel.Go to setting and swap the channel of you wifi 6: create access points Theer is so much more.. This video is for grannies only

My Net Gear router frequently dropped the WiFi signal. I found it was hot to touch so i raised it on a 2x4x2" block of wood to let air cool it and no problems since then.

Me: logging into to router to do a restart, doesnt work. Go do a manual restart, still doesnt work, use cmd commands to reset ip and dns, still doesnt work, call internet provider they tell me their is unplanned maintenance today so i look that up and its just degradation and the same all over Australia with no specific issue in my area.. 😅 fun

My router was working fine but it was one the end of its cycle so it was running on 1mbps,so as the new month it renews the pack at 12Am....so i turn the router off for a while then when i swutched it on I can connect but no internet access
