Bull crap, it could be even a blown head gasket when there's no communication with the ECM, so for beginners don't just start to tear down your vehicle and assume it's a simple fix.

@@DavidDavid-uc9zk Sure, I'll explain it to you.....from my experience i get vehicles at the Shop from people that assume one simple fix, even with brand new Computer Modules and wires torn apart . Their explanation is i saw it in You Tube and the guy found the problem right away. In order to figure it out if the ECM is the culprit more test are necessary to rule out if the ECM is the problem. If you have spark in all cylinders, and fuel is injecting, but still there's no communication with the Engine Computer Module do the engine compression test, and then you will find if there's a problem with the head gasket.

@@AUTODIAGNOSTICPH No....it's me the Tech i just had a 2009 Toyota Corolla as of today no comunicacion again as i said., the vehicle would jus crank but it wouldn't start and no comunicacion with the ECM guess what? Blown head gasket low compression 90 psi it has been torn apart and it's almost ready to be put back together. But like I said don't expect just to find one simple fix it could be one or more diagnostic problems.
