BOL!!! I lost an amazing person because o hated my self!! And I translated that into my relationship. “I’m not good enough” “I’m not pretty enough” “I’m a burden!” And the more he tried to convince me I was wrong, the more I thought he was just saying what I wanted to hear and didn’t meant it! I put the entire responsibility of my happiness in his hands. He ended things, and I was angry, but then, I started to realise he did what he had to do for him! He was exhausted and lost. Fast forward 6 weeks and I realised that he did what he had to do for him and inadvertently did what he had to do for me! In 6 weeks I worked so hard on loving me that I realised had he not ended things, I would have never had the drive to better me and start loving me!

The other BOL for me is I am learning to truly fall in love with myself deeply. I am learning to not rely on others for any kind of validation. I need to trust my own deep validation for my own self. It isn't out there. It will never be out there! It is in me. So I have been learning how to embrace managing being single, in every sense of the word. I need to embrace being ALONE with SELF. Something I've been doing since this past summer 🌞 2023 is think of times when I've been really proud of how I handled myself in different situations. Then I think about what I want to say . Then I get in a good light ( my favorite is outside) I make sure I'm looking my best while I'm looking into the camera 🤳🏽 of my cellphone. I start talking making a short video. Some are 13 minutes, some half hour or 3 minutes. I save the best one's to listen to later and remind me of how strong and courageous I have been, just getting BETTER with time. I am totally honest in my videos taking my time. This has really been a blessing for my soul. The woman I was years ago is NOT the woman I am TODAY. ❤️

Wow! I searched "how to truly love yourself" and found you first and I will never regret for my decision. Your voice is so calm, nice and like ASMR to my ears. I liked your words "Don't ever expect someone else to love you better than you are loving yourself." By now, I have been doing so many things to love myself and sometimes things get worse and I start feeling that all of my attemts were useless. That I am not truly loving myself. So, I was waiting for someone to love me and to complete me. I always wanted to feel that 100% love from myself. I always wanted to feel everything that I learned from my psychological therapies, motivation videos, works with the mirror. I did all of them. But I couldn't fully and truly feel that love. Now your words also motivated me. They gave me a hope that I'll still and again and again continue my journey to self love. And I will always remember: I am complete. I don't need relationships or anything else to feel complete. I need them just to sharpen my love and my strength. Thank you!
