Hey Robert thanks a lot for the videos, they are very easy to follow. Can you use a Windows Certificate Authority to create the certs for ssl in IIS? Would the ssl cert not be backed up by the cert authority? In that situation would you not need to do group policy to trust the cert? I am pretty new to this and just working on learning certificates in a lab environment. I have a working cert authority and web server hosting ocsp, and a virtual directory hosting my crl. and crt. I want to get my certsrv virtual directory secured by ssl.

You can use it but you can only get members of the domain to trust it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/faOyg5h4a5uImK8

After you create the certificate, you can go into IIS and the websites properties bindings. You'll see it in the drop down certificate list.
