I’m really thinking about buying this sharpener……. in hindsight, would you all recommend it? Or do you wish you got something else like that “Work Sharp Pro” or whatever it’s name is, the more expensive one that’s all metal and in this sharpeners price range? They’re all “around” $250 if I remember correctly. Thank you all for any recommendation you can steer me towards, I really need to start sharpening my own knives. 😬

I cant even get the 93mm (only 2mm longer but still) SAK blades in the two jaws, will have to grab that single clamp from you when you get it in! =)

Which TSProf clamp is the one in the video. Two different stock numbers are listed in TSProf catalogue.

This is the single clamp The other option is the single fillet clamp.

I keep creating uneven bevels. I check the angle of the clamp and it differs by 0.5 to 1.5 degrees after rotating and locking into place, depending on the blade geometry.

This can generally be due to poor clamping position or a uneven factory grind.

@@zanvak i have the same issue as scruggs. I have a difference of 0.5 \0.7 degrees between both sides. I’m’sure the blade is well clamped. Is it possible it.s a problem with the springs on the clamp ? I see on the k03 manual there is a way to setup the clamp

@@jeanmarccierniewski837 all the parts are machined down to a micron so are very accurate, the clamps pull together and will try centre the blade, also the blade being clamped centred is key.

The geometry would not be right if you put them to the side.
