That beginning is brutal to follow. Why not use ladder stitch to start? Substantially easier to understand...at least for me. Once you got started for clear. Thanks for the video!

How do you finish the ends? The end where you start, the beads don't quite face the correct direction.

This is just a tutorial on the stitch itself, not on a complete project. Search for "herringbone" on the channel to search through 750+ other projects.

Yes it can... you will just see more thread because of the sharper edges on Delica beads.
