Haha!! 😝 This is just what happens I'm afraid! You'll be coveting a concert grand before you know it!!

26 fully levered is a great option for learning though. Get the tuning and technique right from the start and moving up to bigger harps will be easy.

Hi there love your lessons, I am a raw harp student with no musical background 😮. Wel I sing in church and my husband and daughter play musical instruments. So I just started with my harp journey.....😅My harp is tuned in c natural is it OK, just starting

if you don't have any levers then yes, most certainly it is best to tune to C major. If you do have levers then I would tune to Eb major. It will save you learning in the long run I promise you! Obviously if you have pedals, then that's a whole other story!

I am tuned in to Aflat. Never really understood why, as against Eflat, so I adjust to whatever is on my sheet music. I like the look of the free app tuner, I have often wondered if my maual one is true or not - a good way of testing the two against each other?! Thanks for the lesson.

It took me a long time to trust the app and I tried lots of other apps and tuners of all kinds but I'm sticking with it now. It is simple but it works! The only difference between Eb and Ab is the D. In Eb you tune your D to natural, and in Ab you tune to Db. I'm going to do a live session next Monday on why we tune to certain keys - so watch out for that!
