Do you have to upgrade impeller to tune or is it sweet to just tune ?

At 90hp base, It's a one two combo, but you can do either. You'll cavitate a little with the tune only at 110+hp and you won't see much of an upgrade impeller only. Of course if you're at 60hp looking to upgrade to 90-110hp, then you'll see a massive upgrade because you'll have sport mode. Hope this makes sense

What gas you have to put in there after the tune, isnt it like 91 or 93 octane

93 with this tune. some tunes require e85. some are fine with 87. all depends on the tune.

Sorry this may be a dumb question but Do you need to send out your gauges or Ecu to get flashed to unlock sport mode or does the tune do that automatically?

Your ECU manages all of that, when you unlock sport mode the middle gauge reacts as if you have the HO (with sport mode).

Yes, but you will need to buy a license for each ski. I own the maptuner now and have both licences on both of my skis. You also get free updates on the tunes as well!

THE H.G.B. I would go with the trixx if you can afford it. This is the budget way to get the most out of the ski.

go for the trixx. its ridicoulosly nimble but great for relaxed cruising as well. if u want extreme tricks get a stand up ski

Tyler S reverse is surprisingly a non-issue, braking issue also no issue. The only thing I kind of wish I had was VTS. That's only available with the IBR.

Hunter DeRise you still need to buy the tune but renting the tuner keeps the cost down. The tune registers to the serial number of your jet ski

Glenn Dager yes. Waste of money. There are guys out there that will do the same tune for about $200 the only difference is you can’t switch the tunes but honestly you really don’t have to there’s not much difference.

According to greenhulk and the tuners themselves (VTech) everyone has stated it's the most stable tune. Some have reached 100+ hours on the tune. Hope that helps.

N1AGE hey bud, sorry about the late response. The 60hp version has a top speed is 40mph give it take 1-2mph. The hole shot, as explained in the video, is very conservative. After the tune, the hole shot is IMMEDIATE. Shoots you right out of the water. The top speed isn't as drastic. It's about 52MPH. With an upgraded prop, plate and few other accessories I've heard about 60mph. I myself don't care for top speed, I care about the hole shot. Hope this helps.

My assumption is reliability or detuning because they are worried about recalls or warranty replacements from dealerships. Obviously a lower horsepower motor is more reliable if it doesn't rev as high. We've seen this is pretty reliable at this tune, though.

From everything I've heard, you can tune the 90hp the same way I tuned the 60hp. I've also heard the gains between 90-110hp is minimally noticeable. The next upgrade is a Solas 12/17 prop with a stainless wear ring. I'd suggest looking into a better pitched prop for higher performance first.

I've also only heard of people sending their ski somewhere for tuning 60hp to 90hp. Call the local sea doo shops to see if they would do this.

As Tippo said, This is done the exact same way on the 90 as it is on the 60. It's pretty easy to use once you have it in your hands. Comes with easy to understand instructions now as well.
