More information the better when it comes to something this delicate! Stock engine & exhaust there isn't much room for power, however we can improve drivability and reduce knock on lower grade fuel. It's up to you if it's worth it :)

Looking at my wish list, I am thinking that this should be the last item to eventually get. Since I am not planning on going forced induction, will not tuning the car after doing some exhaust and intake mods make any negative impacts to the engine life or increase in catastrophic failure? I know there weren't tunes available for three years so I was just curious if there is any negative impacts (other than not getting the HP potential from the mods) from not tuning right away. Thanks.

Great question! The C8 has closed loop fueling so it's always "self tuning" for a certain AFR. Adding bolt on mods (Intake, Exhaust, Intake Manifold, Headers) will not hurt the life of the engine. However a tune will help it run more safely with 100% of the power gains. - Justin

What does this do to the warranty? Second question, I have a Kentucky car registered in California which has to meet California emission. Will it pass under those requirements?

This will void your engine and transmission warranty on the vehicle. As long as you have all your OEM emissions equipment installed it will function like stock and pass.

Yes by doing any of this ..Warranty is GONE..GM will gladly say NO we are covering the car with a Smile on their face...so just make Everyone this is exactly what u want to do....Myself I'm just waiting for the Warranty to end
