Hi Janet, it’s mention in the description. In this tutorial, I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn (color: Wisteria), and Boye Crochet Hook G-6/4.25 mm.

Mine is aclyric yarn.. but you can use any kind of yarn, including wool and crochet thread.

When I close my headbands off,I slip stitch to the other side...hope that helps you
