How to turbo Vl commodore rb30 n/a to turbo nistune

In this video I convert from n/a rb30 to a turbo running 8psi

Good way to blow 25 spline diffs and gearboxes ;) i went through many when i 'turboed' my old VL

The exhaust steel you used is coated in aluminium oxide and needs to be sanded or ground off to acsess the steel for full penetration.. even when welding gasless you can stack the dimes if you knew to remove the coating... just a heads up.. dont get snotty

That ebay manifold will crack at the collector after a few good heat cycles, and the flange plate will warp like a bannana guaranteed.

Hi mate. I'm turboing my NA VL. Don't really want to spend a heap on a haltec or link ECU. Was thinking of Nistune as I only want about 200kw. What are your thoughts??

Yo you can get a nissmo computer for them kinda cheaper but not as easy as haltec if you go haltec can always do e85 helps keep it cooler

Built by juz hey mate I had one issue I hit a speed bump and it hit my dump and cracked it in the collector welded it up and no problems since that was last year works well

I am running a gt3582 with a 38mm Tial wastegate. someone who wants to sell me a wastegate thinks that my 38mm wastegate is too small Also interested to know what boost your running Thanks mate, this video was very helpful

Mine has got a 50mm gate gt3582 boost I was running was 12 at this stage runs 20ish now

@@assia5138 if you want high mount go t03 turbo or if you want to be risky go a 3582 run 10 psi on stock turbo ecu with injectors should be sweet

Cohen Willis the nistune is a chip that gets put into the standard ecu to allow tuning

ThatWalrusInUrPiano yes if you want to go big power you want after market if you want a standard setup buy factory turbo injectors N/a ones will max out under load and cause you to lean out resulting in cracked ring lands I’ve been there done that
