I am currently suffering & the circumstances leave me feeling ashamed, embarrassed , humiliated, vulgar and fake. These feelings are so strong & overpowering for me I had to turn to God for help. I also prayed the Akathist to my Guardian Angel, when I finished I turned on yt & this video popped up. Both God & my Guardian Angel answered my prayer. I now understand God has been revealing the next layer of ‘snakes’ within my soul & I’ve been resisting taking responsibility for these and instead have allowed myself to be seduced by them. I’m so sleazy. God is so amazing He’s really straightforward I say I want spiritual growth & He delivers. It’s not always good news however the truth when we accept it sets us free. Thank you Father Seraphim ✝️ 🙏 ❤️

Thank you, Father. I needed this to come to me today. I have been under very heavy spiritual attack and physical attack. Very, very bad this last week or so. Indescribable. But, today, I became so very angry- I work so very hard to be kind, good, compassionate, prayerful- and things thrown at me and my family that cannot be described or believed in the world of the physical. So today, I was so stricken and hurt, that I became angry. I am grateful for your words and insight more than you can imagine. This is an older video, so I know that you now have new glasses. That is so beautiful, dear one. May God bless you. I remember an old lady in my church in Bucharest (Maria, may God rest her soul) - once, in my twenties, I was visiting my spiritual father and, as I was coming our of the Altar, she took me aside and said: 'yesterday, I was just like you, as young as you, with all my future before me; do not regret leaving it all behind, because life passes in a moment, there is nothing to regret'. She had such honesty and strength in her voice, I carried that in my heart ever since. And it did help, by the grace of God. May we all be blessed, dear one

My dear James, you are right, I don't really prepare for these talks. At times, because I know I have to film while I am talking (and because I am most definitely not a film-maker), I try to have an idea of the structure of what I am going to say, so I don't lose my thoughts focusing on what I film. I have a topic, usually suggested in one of these comments, I have a basic idea of how I get from idea 1 to idea 2, and I have a mountain of trust that Christ will fill in the blanks. And yes, your idea about putting these in writing is very good - thank you so much for suggesting it. Christ is risen!

Dear Father, I also have a huge migraine problem for almost every day. It causes not only headache, but also weakness, restlessness, irritability, imbalance in the body and many other symptoms that I cannot count at the moment. My social life is ruined because of this, I can't even go to church most of the time. Sometimes the pain starts in my eyes (I have high myopia and astigmatism) and I can't read anything. However, reading is one of my favorite things. I would be very happy if you could pray for me. Maybe it's a cross, but still, you don't know how happy I would be if God took this burden off me. I believe your prayers will be answered, for I know that "For the unremitting prayer of a just person prevails over many things." JAMES 5:16

Thank you Father for your wisdom. I have been helped today. I wanted to say I feel for you with your dust of hurt from others. I think God can transform this dust directly, like this. When we are hurt by lack of love in the world, if we receive the hurt that is within us in our hearts as dust and lay it before God he will take the burden of pain and as we grieve he will lighten it with his love. He will heal the harm with his love and his words of love to us. Then though we still bear some sadness we glow with his love and the sadness doesn't hurt so much at all. Indeed if we complete our grieving in the presence of God the sadness will be replaced by joy. I think God loves to transform the dust of our pain in this way.

That darkness has killed some, but the same darkness has saved many, dear one. I think about this and I understand that the end result does not depend so much on the darkness itself, but on my own reaction to it. This is why I entrust myself to the experience of the Church, because this experience comes from the spiritual struggles of the very ones who have survived the darkness and have learnt to turn it into Grace. My dear Paisia, I remember reading somewhere (I think in St John Chrysostom) that judging our brother is a deadly sin because it is the only sin in which we want to 'overthrow' God from His Throne of Judgement. Since God alone can judge, when we judge our brother, we take upon ourselves the role of God, we sit in His Throne and act like Him. I remember reading that and shivering to my heart. May God be merciful on us all. Christ is risen, dear one!

@alisonorland68274 жыл бұрын
@@irene1234 not sure judging ourselves is helpful. If we welcome the spirit of God which is the spirit of truth we will soon see within us things we wish weren't there. But then we should hold them straight to God for his help. That's more useful.

Evil rarely comes from people, dear Debbi. It almost always comes from the evil one, who finds a way to confuse what is imprinted in all of us - the clarity and beauty of the Image of Christ. Indeed He is Risen!!! In your immense goodness O Lord God help me in all things Father is saying. I'm weak Father and through your voice I'm trying to be a true Orthodox Christian and not a fake the way I've been. It's a rough tough struggle for me as I've always been horribly mischief in all things. I love you, Please pray for me Father

The greater the fall one survives by. the grace of God, dear one, the greater the love one feels for the One Who Saved us. The greater the sin which was forgiven, the greater the gratitude and the love. Sin can be a tool for good, if we use the memory of it in a good way - it can feed our love, our gratitude, our humility. Always have faith, always look forward, dear one.

That makes me and everyone at the Monastery very happy, dear Karen. After putting so much work in this, it helps very much to know it was worth it. May we all be blessed, dear one.

Storms come and go here, dear one. They feel strange, especially at this time, like yet another layer of isolation - we live on an island, we are in a monastery, we go through a lockdown and now, we also have a storm. Glory be to God for all things. Take good care, dear one.

Christ is risen, dear Mark! Thank you for taking the time to write these words - we all ned a bit of courage and strength to keep going forward, and the support of those around us matters so much, even in this 'digital' community which we are slowly building together. May we all be blessed, dear one.
