I'm a newbie and wondered how in the heck you got a top to fit the bottom and you answered it for me. You don't. You make the bottom fit the top. Another lesson learned. Thank you!

Great job showing the box process. Good explanation of sizing your jam chuck as well. The one thing you didn’t mention is that once the mating tenon is sized perfectly it cannot be sanded. How many boxes I’ve done with a French fit lid because of sanding the mating tenon. Now I will generally fit the tenon tight and then sand it to the fit I’m after. Lovely box. Keep it up.

Very nice box. I stopped watching in the middle to view the build video for the hollowing tool. I have been watching your ornament videos lately. Pretty good stuff. Generally good production. Comment on this box. I like the box. You spent as much video time stating you were not going to show the sanding as the sanding would have taken. Better if you show a few seconds of sanding while explaining that you started with xx grit and progressed to xx grit. I really dislike when the presenter tells me what he is not going to show me. Not just you. Everyone does it. The burn rings would have looked better had they been symmetrical. The texturing disappeared in the spalting. Save the texture for plain woods. Thank you for sharing. have a great day and stay safe. Subscribed.
