Such a great presentation and execution. I have one issue why did you leave some of it still open? You could have made that battery slide part circular or have a slide mechanism so that the entire thing closes. You could even design the sticker to cover up that part as well. I know you want to be able to change the battery but having it open to collect dirt etc is not optimal.

Hi, since the video came out, I actually designed a little insert that goes in that empty space. This both ensures a tight fitting battery as well as protects it from dust and debris. This is included in every purchase since early this year.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m looking to purchase on your website DIY kit. Skip that etsy fee. But I’m curious. Is an airtag the only find my tracker product that has precision tracking. If yes it seems like your mod is the only product I can find that solves exactly what I want for tracking my slim wallet.

It is indeed the only FindMy tracker than has precision finding (as well as AirPods Pro second gen charging case) because it is an Apple proprietary technology.
