That was interesting and so creative. That trick with duplicating the blue water and blur to tint the room was amazing. Darkening the shark’s underside made it more realistic. Thank you for taking the time to teach us. Looking forwards to more videos and continuing you’re The Art Of Photo Manipulation course.

How timely this fun tutorial is. Here I am staring out of my window next to my computer and daydreaming. It is raining, really raining and here you are with this great and easy tutorial. You are asking for suggestions. Why not showing how you did your own artwork you have on Instagram?

I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial ! Definitely a good day for learning some creative stuff. Yea sure ! Which one would you like to see ? (Some edits are more advanced and would take way longer to do a full tutorial on)

@@IAMRENSI All of them. You chose. I prefer long videos to be able to see what you are doing with layers, blends, gradients etc. Similar to what you did here. A 30 minutes or more video is good. I see it as you doing your art and we learn by watching you do it and listen to your explanations as to why you do it your way. Have you thought of having a Patreon account?

Claude Fiset Ah interesting! You see.. Many content creators seem to stick to shorter 8-15 min videos to keep things engaging, so that’s kind of what I’m trying and learning now (to prevent videos from getting long and boring). But if you say a 30+ minute tutorials every now and then would work, I could spend some more time explaining the process more thoroughly :) And I surely have thought about hopping on Patreon, but I’m not sure yet what exclusive content to offer. Any ideas/suggestions on that ? I appreciate you for sharing your feedback btw !

@@IAMRENSI I have just sent you an email. Yes I was told about this idea of short videos but I do not think it applies to artwork. You are not entertaining us with video non-sense, you are educating us with quality projects.

Claude Fiset Haha that does actually make sense. Very valuable feedback, thanks ! Now.. It’s getting late (almost 1am out here). Ready for some rest. I’ll get back to you and answer your email tomorrow !

@@IAMRENSI very early stages. Been mucking around with toy/figure photography during lockdown having cleared my sons room out. Came across a number of things that reminded me of the things I used to collect. Some 80s characters from film and TV or games. Cannot justify the Adobe costs but Affinity looks like it does everything I want. Channels like yours are very inspiring and helpful so keep up the great work. 👍🏻

Thank you for the helpful tutorial. I would be interested in how I can select different objects within an image with the pen, or whether that is possible. For example, if I have a wall with many windows and I only want to select the glass of the different windows, I cannot put all of them in one selection or mask. Do I really have to mark window by window and create a mask or selection for each individual glass?

No good camera? What's the big-ass tripod for then 🤔😊 Cool video again. Especially the stroke on the pen selection was a good tip. One of those 'I could've thought of that myself but I didn't' things.
@IAMRENSI3 жыл бұрын
Haha well, the tripod is a very old one I’m borrowing from my dad. Back when I recorded this video, I only had a phone (which I could mount on it) and the webcam of my laptop to record the vids. Now I’m still using the same old tripod, but luckily (for you and the rest of my audience 😂) I now have decent camera to record with! (100% made possible by an amazing guy I met thanks to this channel). Hope that answers your question haha 🤙🏼

Hey ik doe soms ook dit soort dingen met affinity photo op mijn MacBook Pro 2019 15” , alleen het is soms nog best laggy. Wat gebruik jij? Of weet je misschien waar dit aan ligt? Hollandse groeten,
@IAMRENSI3 жыл бұрын
Yo Mick ! :)
