Pleasure is mine kind@@johnnygeibHST . I do have a question for you. I tried this setup and everything works great! Problem I can't figure out is how do you get the room and overheads from ez drummer or addictive drums to show up in the explode pitches to tracks? For some reason those are the only 2 that won't show up even though there is a signal going thru them. Clueless on that one LOL. Any light would be appreciated. You rock!!

The Exploded tracks are only for MIDI Performances not for channels in EZDrummer or Addictive Drums. Since they hold no MIDI data there will be no Exploded tracks for those.

Regarding the instructions at about 8:40 on the procedure to combine the two hi-hat midi tracks and then hit "control lock" key to merge them...then bounce to audio. I have no idea what the control-lock key on my keyboard is. I'm on a windows computer. Love your Studio One videos! Thanks.

I actually said CAP LOCK which is the key to type all capital letters.

Do you also have a video how to turn audio drums into midi? I want to know that for the drum mix (stereo drums) but also for the single tracks. With midi i can make drum notation easily with standard notation programs. I also can add samples/drumsets easy with a midi track (EZ drummer, etc.) Will be very happy if you can make a video for that! I look for that more than 10 year now.

There is no real way to turn audio into midi unless you try using Melodyne to do this.

Thank you Johnny! Here's a crazy question, can you reverse this? I exploded pitches to tracks the other day and now I want to go back to one midi track for some reason. How could I do that?

Well you should be able to undo it but if you're past that point you could try to use Melodyne if the tracks are still separated.
