Why do vegans get so excited about eating meat? So many people here requesting meat recipes but vegan. I don't understand why someone would want to eat vegetables disguised as meat. Why can't vegetables just be vegetables? Why do mushrooms have to be steak? Why do we have fake bacon, fake chicken, etc? Are vegetables so undesirable to people that you have to market them as meat substitute? Why do we have this "meat-centric" approach to vegetables? Can't they just be good enough without having to be reminded of our dystopian food production and distribution systems?

I meant amen about the cabbage and corn beef. Then I noticed that work I don’t know a message wondering why and we get excited about meat. Many of us we’re mediators before we were vegetarians or vegans. Like you, we enjoyed barbecues and special dishes on special days etc. I can understand that if you are a vegan
@violethendrickson60803 жыл бұрын
For cruelty reasons making meat dishes would seem stupid or weird, but if it’s for health reasons as it is for many people, they still miss meat and meat dishes and that’s why we can enjoy aproximations of what we used to love to eat.

Anyway, thank you for your videos and channel - you're so helpful and encouraging!
