This worked great for my 2005 Matrix, thanks. For newer cars apparently use the Trip A position, instead of the Odometer position.

@spiritvarun This is an 05 model as well. It now has 70k+ miles on it now. The car has never rattled til this day. The interior might get a little vibration from the engine (it is a 4-cylinder car, so that's pretty normal) Now if it's really noticeable you might want to get it checked. Maybe you need a couple things tightened here and there.

...just had the same problem today. What I did was to disconnect the negative battery post, kept it off for about three minutes, put it back, problem gone. If there is an engine problem, the light will come back in a couple of days again. Have you car checked

chantale hindy if the car has driven more than 3500 miles since the last oil change I'd suggest you do that lol

I have a 2010 Camry if you make sure it is on first then select trip (a) push down on trip reset turn car off the turn car to on position not run. wait 10-15 seconds then release trip reset button .

it dosent matter if you reset your computer/ecu. if car is messed up light will continue to come on, no matter how many times you reset it... owners manual will have reset info in it

You don't have to go into details about you taking your car to have oil changed. Blah blah blah blah. Just tell how to turn the lights off. Doesn't take a 3 minute video to do that. 45 seconds tops.
