How to turn on Auto lock on a Fiat grande punto + how to use Dead locking

hello, i have bought fiat grande punto 2007 1.3multijet. if you can tell me about dead lock, what i can use it for? thank you for answer.

It deactivates the interior door handles so if someone smashes a window for say pulling on the interior door handles won’t unlock the car

what is the difference from normal lock?

Actually you’ll find if you press the lock button twice you’ll hear it lock a 2nd time once it’s done that the interior door handles will not unlock the doors hence the term “dead locked” try it for your self if you don’t believe me sit in press the lock button once and pull the handle the car will unlock if you lock it twice the handles will not unlock
