@@user-us7mn2mf8p oh, on my pc for example (an Omen by HP) youhave an "fn" key (literally that's what it's called) and then the F4 one that's for the lights. You just press Fn+F4 (again, hope i am correct) and it turns light on. Sure, first step would be the laptop to HAVE LED keyboard otherwise it ain't gonna work

Thanks, I've had my laptop for a couple of years now and never bothered with turning the keyboard brightness up until the urge to see it lit popped up recently. Guess the fn button had a purpose all along!

ty, was trying to help someone unlock their keyboard and I turned the backlight off, your video helped me get it back on ... by the way to unlock your keyboard hold the right shift key down for 8 seconds

how do I disable my FN for my volume, it is a pain every time I want to raise or lower my volume that I need to use the fn key, could it be disabled for the volume? thank you!

maybe a late response, but you can't. you can make it so that you don't have to press the fn keys at all, but then you'd have to press the fn key for f1 f2 f3 and such and not the actual functions
