You do have to be careful, though. If the song has any modal interchange (stepping outside of the scale for a couple spicy notes), this method will produce incorrect results.

The very best tip that’s been working for me is finishing songs no matter how unhappy you are with the sound. Get the structure right. You’ll be amazed how even the worst samples and sounds structured into a song can still be SOMETHING. But a super cool 4 bar loop is only cool until the brain sucks all the stimulation it can from hearing it

@@djaldd420 I was using FL since it started. Ableton workflow is much much better. There are lots of vids on KZbin and I think ableton gives you 30 days full working trial. You can still use fruity as a VST plug in I believe.

It's actually very easy and straightforward.. there's a ton of ways to go about anything in it.. u just have to spend time with it.. also there's this thing in live called “audio effect rack” which is gonna be your best friend
