I tithed on my last two salaries and my income was just cut by 2/3. I pray. Nothing. I don't even know how to pray. Income gotten less and less since tithing. Edit: I'm not a new Christian. I pray in tongues every day. What is wrong? Nov, Dec, Jan was supposed to be double pay. Now cut. I'm so tired.

Hi Natalie, sorry to hear about your tough season. I’ve been in a very similar spot where you do all of the RIGHT stuff expecting God-results but you’re hit with setbacks. Without knowing you it’s easy to provide generalizations about your situation. Based off what you are saying, you are on the right track. Keep flaming your fire with doing the right stuff according to the Word. Next, you have either entered a season of trial unknowingly where: the Lord will sustain you, but he’s rounding off big parts of your character. Assuming you’re American, the closest way to our hearts are our wallets, unfortunately. If this isn’t the case, God is more than likely wanting to put you in a new job situation and the start of it begins with frustration. We’ve learned how practical He is. It may be time for a new job search. Continue with your faith for Him to provide you with better!
