You my racing brother are a genius. I've got to hand it to you, thinking outside of the box was definitely worth the effort. For a little over $200 you have: 1, awesome pedal 2, repairable pedal 3, adjustable pedal & 4, removable pedal for an upgrade if EVER wanted. I don't think k it would ever be needed but you nailed it. I too am going to build the same ones. Again, I commend you for an AWESOME job. Thanks for sharing you build, I enjoyed it immensely! I just wish I had everything here so I could build it and not wait on shipping

Make sure you use no teflontapes at all. Breaklines are not the same as ordinary garden taps. The tread gives no sealing. The reason you got leaks, because you didn't tighten the bolts well. Do not ever use teflontape on anything,which can cause injury when starts leaking. Earthgas pipes, breakpipes, fuellines, and etc..

Similar to what im thinking of doing with my t3pa pros, going hydraulic for the feel, but will be ditching the pots and adding a load cell instead. Not quite figured out how, but thinking of adding the cell on the end of a slave cylinder that pushes, instead of like this one that pulls.
@sirbhimasb7 жыл бұрын
great idea man, i want to do it to with my dfgt pedal might open it up later to see if it using potensio meter too
@HowardAnthC5 жыл бұрын
Fantastic build man. You know if a person didn't mind having to deal with brake fluid and grime they could probably get a used master cylinder for much less than a new one.
@Zenzio1523 жыл бұрын
Great build. Have you tried connecting a pressure sensor to the slave cylinder instead of having the potentiometer on the brake pedal? The pressure sensor wiring would be the same. I did it on my build. Pretty happy with it.

Great DIY Design, but you went thru all that trouble just to have another potentiometer based brake, why not a load cell? I know of a load cell that is direct plug and play to thrustmaster wheels, if you want the details let me know

it is old video, but.: if you change brake pedal potenciometer to pressure sensor it will be perfect. I did same to G27 pedals > changed to real pedals. G27 potenciometer use 0-5V power suply- same as pressur sensors, signal 0-5V- same as pressure sensor.

I've got the thrustmaster TX.Do think this will work with my pedals?
@qlp86867 жыл бұрын
I believe it will. Those pedals are also potentiometer based pedals. It will be the same process, take the potentiometers out and adapt them to the new ones.
@Case_7 жыл бұрын
TX pedals are exactly the same as T300 pedals, just with a slightly different look. (I realize you've likely already solved it, but thought I would leave the comment anyway.)

easy, put pressure sensor and connect instead brake potenciometer, gas pedal connect to throtle body sensor.

With no Pressure Transducer as sensor it's just not what it should be at all... The Clutch config but not the brakes.
@oktc684 жыл бұрын
That's more realistic, mechanically than a load cell.

It looks great but dam it looks very uncomfortable to be sitting in that position for a long period of time
@qlp86867 жыл бұрын
It was with the original pedals from the T300RS. With this new pedals it is a lot more comfortable. It is basically the same position Formula1 drivers have in their cockpits

I like the DIY process thats why I took the time to figure it out and do it. Plus I had knee surgery during that time and I couldnt play so decided to take on the project.
@mariuszanfir59704 жыл бұрын
Nice work, mate! However, I think it's worth nothing that using a cheaper master cylinder, not fucking WILWOOD!! and a normal brake line would reduce the costs even further, right? Also, still using the potentiometer kinda beats the purpose, isn't it?
@_xndrzt6 жыл бұрын
really great work, but did you really do all of this just for playing those crap f1 games on ps4? :(

at the moment yes, but my plans for the future are to expand to a gaming PC setup. Just dont have the time at the moment.
