You are reminding me how technique and the RIGHT products make a HUGE difference for such a simple style like twists! Thank you!!

To keep my twists flat to my head and keep my roots from being puffy, I put a bobby pin on the roots until it's dry. Take them out after they're dry and you'll have flat, smooth roots. 😉

Prior to watching this video, I reviewed your 12 gems in getting great deep conditioned hair. And, both videos are equally priceless in obtaining and maintaining beautiful healthy hair! Great styles, as usual, for your twists!!!

This is the video I needed because I am constantly re-twist in my hair every morning after I tie it down and what I found from your video was one I don’t put enough product on there I don’t know why I’m so light-handed with it. But also I don’t do the combination and the smoothing part of the roots is key !!!!!!!

Im sp happy that I saw this video bc I was about to cut all of my bra strap length hair off again. I'm not used to such thin hair and to me it feels so unhealthy. I had low iron and low Vitamin D3 for about 5 years and before I knew it and it caused my hair to shed by the handfuls for those years. Now I can embrace my thinner hair and allow it to flourish in length. Thank you so much!!

Hi Michelle! I just found this video in 2024 and I was wondering how/or if this technique would work on 2nd day hair or blow dried hair? Would the CR gellee flake if you used it in these situations? Thanks for all that you do for us fine strand ladies😊

Beautiful as usual ❤. We have a very similar texture, I find that back of my hair gets wet quicker and it hold water long than the middle of my head. I also find that when I do wash and goes the back of my hair tangles and get tiny knots or tangles. I love wash and goes but I mostly do twist now .
@FineNaturalHairandFaith
@FineNaturalHairandFaith 2 жыл бұрын
Yep your hair sounds like it believes just like mine. I wonder if the top of our heads being exposed to the sun etc is just more higher in porosity causing it to be resistant to receiving moisture, products etc I don’t get a lot if tangles with wash and god now because I only allow it to be for 3 days max but when I do get a tangle it’s definitely in that area so I’m keeping it all stretched. I do like a wash and go at least once in the summer though
