Good video, I love to see what other beekeepers do, especially local to me. Yes, the swarming was crazy through May. I also had to extract in June and get the empties back on and again July 4th. I have the same extractor but only 2 frame and it works great but does take some time. I will have to extract some more this weekend again just to give them some more room for the fall since I don't have much drawn comb 3 seasons in. I really enjoy all things bees so looking forward to it. It's been so hot I have only been doing some mite washes and o/a treatments. So far the mites have been zeros and 1s with 1 colony at 9 that I hit hard. Thanks for the videos, good luck this fall.

Thank You, James! I may pass on some of the fall flow and get my supers off a little earlier than usual. I just dont want to deal with feeding 2:1. I'm hoping if I pull supers they will start packing in the fall flow and push them down and get up to weight by mid october. Good luck! And thanks again.

You might want to look at Hillco's extractors. I extracted over a thousand lbs last year also with the same size machine and I said that's enough and bought Hillco's 8 frame electrical extractor and it is so sweet. If you got 1100 lbs of honey at $8 /lb you can afford a decent extractor. LOL Mine was under $900.
