Oh my goodness.... I just moved into my new to me house... previous owners did not do full disclosure... very deceptive... Well there's other ways to do it: Plunger Grab a stick and break down the poo wait so it becomes soft then flush Grab a bucket and fill with hot water then flush and pour the water in Or just leave it and let ur parents do the unclogging 😂😂😂 (it worked once but it cost me 2 pages of maths homework)

Hello I was initially advised to try Bicarb with vinegar, but it had no effect. I then tried the dishwashing liquid and tap hot water, pouring it in and waiting 20 minutes. Nothing happened so I poured the second bucket of water and used the 🪠 (plunger). It cleared right up, thank you. It's been a tough week.

I've heard that if you don't have any dishwashing liquid available or if you're in someone else's house and don't exactly want to go ask them for any you can take some shampoo (which is in most bathrooms) and use that instead.

Don't flush if unsure it works: it may overflow. Pour water from a bucket in to test flushing: if its open, it'll flush (with the bucket water); if it isn't, you can stop pouring to avoid overflowing the toilet. If you flush, you can't stop - it'll dump the whole tank whether there's room for it or not.
